Product Summary
Thu Aug 11 14:34:23 MST 2011 - With its solid spruce top and sapele back and sides, the Big Baby delivers tone well beyond what its price tag suggests. The most obvious cost-cutting occurs in the form of a bolted neck joint. This is easily overlooked, however, as it does not detract from the sustain or resonance through a loss of vibration transfer. Additionally, the increased playability in the higher registers afforded by the bolted neck more than offset any sentimental 'attachment' to a glued neck. The laminated back and sides further contribute to its affordability. Fit and finish are simple and utilitarian, lending it to years of trouble-free playing.
